Making Sound Visible through Cymatics. Evan Grant demonstrates the science and art of cymatics, a process for making soundwaves visible.
A Simple Cymatic Experiment: A simple experiment demonstrating the visualization of cymatics can be done by sprinkling sand on a metal plate and vibrating the plate, for example by drawing a violin bow along the edge, the sand will then form itself into standing wave patterns such as simple concentric circles. The higher the frequency, the more complex the shapes produced, with certain shapes having similarities to traditional mandala designs.
The Sound of a Star. Like musical instruments, STARS, through their natural oscillations or vibrations, can be transformed into an audible sound waves. Astrophysicists detect them through the science of asteroseismology or stellar seismology and then artificially boost the sounds to bring them into human hearing range, producing ghostly whistling, drumming, humming, or bell sounds, depending on their frequencies or speeds of vibration. See and listen to one here.
Music Made Visible. An extract from Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine" as seen on a CymaScope.
The divine triune structure of Silent Stillness giving rise to Sound (the Word or Holy Spirit) which then becomes Light (the sun or Son) is one way of conceptualizing the Sacred Trinity. When this trinitized energy has finally expressed itself in and as the Unified Consciousness Field, our cells can begin to replicate a new tetrahedral crystallinity, a biological trinity, based on the Adam Kadmon or lightbody template. This is a deeply personal and internal process that, in the end, requires the individual to adapt his or her own belief system (the spiritual subtle body) to accept enlightenment as a biological reality. Creation of such a biological reality is, I propose, the ultimate form of healing or wholing.
